Electricity is becoming part of the digital economy
The cost of electricity differs between countries and regions. At the same time, identical generating capacities can have different profitability depending on climate, electricity cost and economic conditions.
Physical electricity cannot be freely moved between remote markets. However, the economic result of its production and sale can be represented in digital form.
The Web3 Electric Power Exchange creates infrastructure for trading the tokenized profit from electricity sales and unites energy market participants in a digital environment.
More than an exchange
We are building a comprehensive energy Web3 ecosystem that unites real electricity generation, digital settlements and blockchain infrastructure.
ENERGY CHAIN
A proprietary EVM-compatible blockchain built on Cosmos EVM. It is the technological foundation for smart contracts, trading infrastructure, accounting and data verification.
Web3 Electric Power Exchange
A digital platform for the interaction of owners of generating capacities, sales companies, traders and other energy market participants.
KILOWATTCOIN
The ecosystem stablecoin intended for the digital representation of economic value related to the production and sale of electricity.
Energy infrastructure
Microgeneration facilities with a capacity of up to 15 kW and small generation facilities with a capacity of up to 25 MW, as well as production and warehouse infrastructure necessary for the development of the project.
One energy market — different economic conditions
The cost of one kWh differs between countries and regions. The final profitability of a generating facility is affected by: the cost of electricity; climatic conditions; the volume of actual generation; the national currency; the economic conditions of a specific region.
Therefore, two technically identical generation facilities located in different parts of the world can deliver a different economic result.
Web3 infrastructure allows creating a unified digital layer for the interaction of such facilities and market participants regardless of their geographic location.
From generation to the digital market
How the ecosystem works
Electricity production
A generating facility produces electric energy and sells it in accordance with the legislation and rules of the energy market of its country.
Generation accounting
A compatible metering device records the actual electricity generation readings.
Data transmission
Information from the device is sent to the oracle infrastructure and transmitted to ENERGY CHAIN.
Verification
Smart contracts verify the data source, device registration, cryptographic signature and compliance of the declared generation with the installed capacity of the facility.
Economic result
The owner receives income from the sale of the electricity produced.
Web3
The resulting economic result can be used within the KILOWATTCOIN and Web3 Exchange infrastructure for further trading and transfer of digital assets between participants.
Ecosystem participants
A unified infrastructure for the energy market
Owners of generating capacities
Produce electricity and gain access to digital tools for working with the economic result of their generation.
Sales companies
Interact with the owners of generating facilities and ensure the sale of the electricity produced within the framework of applicable legislation.
Traders
Gain access to a new class of digital instruments whose economics are tied to real electricity production.
Consumers
Can become part of a unified digital energy ecosystem and interact with other market participants.
From pilot infrastructure to an international energy ecosystem
The project envisages the phased development of its own network of generating facilities and digital infrastructure.
A site in the Rostov region has already been established to implement the pilot project.
The next stage is the development of ENERGY CHAIN, the Web3 Exchange, the oracle infrastructure and the connection of generating facilities to a unified digital system.
